The tub soap is basically laundry soap. It is called so because of it being packed in tubs instead of bar or cakes. It is a reverse process here; clothes are directly applied on soap instead of soap being applied on clothes. Due to it, soap isn’t being wasted because all the extra soap is left in the tub, instead of being drained off.
